Burgers
Ground beef patties served in buns with cheese, pickles and sauces.
Ingredients
- 1 lb / 450 g ground beef
- buns, as needed
- 6–8 oz / 170–225 g cheese
- lettuce, as needed
- 1–2 cups prepared tomato
- pickles, as needed
- salt, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp neutral oil or olive oil
Method
- Season or marinate the ground beef with the listed aromatics and spices.
- Heat the grill, barbecue, skillet or oven until hot.
- Cook the Burgers until browned outside and cooked through inside.
- Rest the meat or vegetables briefly so the juices settle.
- Slice or serve with bread, rice, salad, sauces or pickles.
- Taste the final dish and add salt, herbs, lemon or chile if needed.
Cooking note: A hot grill gives better browning. Let cooked meat rest before slicing.
